RACE REPORT
Lady Prim was the first to show from Courtly Lass, Latharna and the Fair Wind filly. On settling down, after a couple of furlongs, Latharna moved closer to Lady Prim and this order continued round the home turn, at which point Lady Prim cried enough, allowing Courtly Lass to take over at the helm. Approaching the final furlong, Latharna challenged on the rails, but was in turn challenged on the wide outside by Egretta. Latharna struggled on gamely to win by a short head, with 2 1/2 lengths back to Courtly Lass. |
